KuierKos | Satisfying South African Cravings in the Heart of the Netherlands
I met Andreas and Marnella, the owners of KuierKos, about six years ago. It was through a friend of my husband's cousin, who lived in Paarl in the Western Cape, that I connected with Marnella. And let me tell you, it seems like everyone in the world either knows Marnella or knows someone who knows her!
Marnella invited me over for a coffee morning at their home, at that stage KuierKos was still run from their home in Haarlem's Leidsebuurt. Picture this: we are squeezed around their kitchen table, and whenever someone rang the bell to pick up their order, Marnella would drag another chair closer and we’d all scoot in a little more to make room for the new arrival, her table is never too small and making people feel welcome and loved is her super power!
