My client wanted me to capture the Haarlem city atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon for their maternity session. The hustle and bustle of the Grote Markt, the Christmas lights, Bicycles around the The St. Bavo Church & Oliebollen at the Haarlem station. I was nervous to do the session, there is a small pocket of time to capture the Christmas lights before it gets too dark, rain can pour down at any time! (we all know how unpredictable the weather in Holland can be) and the centre can be very busy while our Corona numbers was on a steady rise. Usually I would postpone the session but since I am closing in December and won’t have more time to do it, I decided to be brave and just wing it!

So the moral of my story: Be brave and step outside of you comfort zone, you might just end up surprising yourself! I’m so happy with the results!
